Resident Evil 3 Remake's First 5 Days Sales Figures Announced

Capcom announced sales figures for the new horror series Resident Evil's new game. Resident Evil 3 Remake has drawn a successful sales performance in the first 5 days after its release.

Capcom's new game, Resident Evil 3 Remake , has made a sound start to the game world with its arrival. Capcom announced the impressive sales figures of its new game, which brought the 1999 horror classic to the present day.

Digital sales of Resident Evil 3 Remake , released by Capcom on April 3, exceeded 2 million on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam platforms in the first 5 days . Resident Evil 3: Open beta for Raccoon City Demo and Resident Evil Resistance had a positive impact on sales. Digital versions of the game made up about 50% of total sales.

Resident Evil 2 Remake continues to rise

Capcom also announced that total shipments and digital sales for the Resident Evil 2 Remake , published in January 2019, exceeded 6.5 million. Reports released last February for Resident Evil 2 Remake showed that the game sold 5.8 million units as of December 31, 2019. With the return of Resident Evil 3, RE2's sales are expected to continue its uptrend in the coming period.

Resident Evil has been performing successfully as Capcom's most popular series, almost 25 years later. The 1999 Resident Evil 3: Nemesis had sold a total of 3.5 million worldwide. The revamped game also includes an online survival mode called Resident Evil: Resistance and takes gamers back to Raccoon City.

The Resident Evil series is considered to be one of the most ambitious games of the horror genre where players use various weapons and items to survive . The total sales of the series' games have exceeded 100 million since the first game launched in 1996.
