With its new Omen 27i gaming monitor, HP surpasses the TN panels used in previous gaming monitor models. With the Omen 27i, more accurate colors and higher contrast are achieved.
Although the new HP Omen 27i does not offer anything that players have not seen and experienced before, it incorporates hardware that the US-based technology company has not used on its monitors to date.
27-inch, 2560 x 1440 resolution, QHD, nano IPS screen; It offers much better color accuracy and contrast than the TN panels used by many of HP's previous player monitors .
What kind of monitor is the HP Omen 27i?

We can say that this new monitor from HP is inspired by LG's 27GL850-B model monitor. In terms of its features, Omen 27i has 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, 165 Hz screen refresh rate and 1 ms response time. The monitor also includes NVIDIA G-Synch compatibility. In this way, a much smoother image can be obtained if NVIDIA's GTX-10 series or higher graphics card is used.
According to the news in The Verge, another feature of the monitor that will make the work of the players much easier is the backlight. The company chose to illuminate the DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0, and two USB 3.0 ports on the back of the monitor .

Also, the cross positioning of these inputs on the back of the monitor makes it much easier to reach and see the inputs. Thanks to the lighting in this section with the entrances, it is much easier to remove the cables from the socket.
HP’s Omen 27i gaming monitor is available for $ 499.99 in the U.S.
