US automaker Chevrolet shared a photo from the cockpit of the right-hand drive Corvette C8. The sports car, which will be launched in countries where traffic flows from the left, such as England, Japan and Australia, will be available in the spring of 2021.
Chevrolet Corvette , the legendary sports car with a history of 67 years , was introduced in July 2019 with its eighth generation with a mid-engine. The American automotive giant, which broke its years of persistence and announced that it would produce a right - hand drive version of the iconic vehicle , surprised everyone.
Customers in countries where traffic was flowing from the left had to replace the mechanical accent completely when they bought a Corvette. There are 54 countries in the world where traffic flows from the left , but Chevrolet will not sell the car in each. Although not official, the Corvette C8 is expected to be exported to major markets such as Australia, the UK and Japan first.
