"How to Collect a Computer?" our article will be relatively longer than my other articles, but if you still be patient you will have a good level of knowledge when the article is finished. Nevertheless, I recommend that you determine your computer collection purpose and budget before proceeding with computer collection. Spending time on the Internet, watching TV series & movies etc. For the computer you will buy for purposes, you will not need to spend very high sums.
In fact, the main target of this article is the people who want to collect games and performance computers. All computers will be suitable for office or media use. Therefore, I will briefly touch upon these parts below.

First of all, as an answer to the question of how to collect a computer, you need to collect the following equipment under minimum conditions, so you need to know about them;
Processor (CPU)
Motherboard
Memory (RAM)
Display card (GPU)
Computer Case (Power Source)
Harddisk and SSD
Monitor
Components such as operating system, DVD, Cooling System, multimedia card are not so important when collecting computers, they are more product developer details. So I will not mention them in this article. Now, let's elaborate on how the parts I mentioned above should be selected below;
1- Processor Selection
At this stage, the processor should be determined according to the purpose of your computer purchase. If you have a purpose of collecting an office computer or a home multimedia computer, I recommend buying dual core processors. You can turn to more, but only for these purposes will be an unnecessary cost. (Highest Intel i3 or AMD A10)
If your goal is to collect gaming computers, you will need to move on to the latest series of Intel and AMD. I recommend you to choose models that were released at least 1 year ago. You don't need to buy the processor from the latest and most expensive models to play games. In this regard, it will be necessary to keep the video card high.
Your goal is to do heavy processing, rendering, etc. In the processor selection, you have to choose one of the top rows of the list.
By the way, it should be noted that expressions like i3, i5, i7 in front of a processor do not mean anything exactly. The model number is important and you can compare it from the CPUBenchmark site.
The “Top Level CPU Graphics” list is the list I use for gaming computers and performance computers. You should consider processors between 100 and 250. Take advantage of choosing a processor from 100. Of course, if your budget is more limited, it will return.
Likewise, the "High to Mid Range CPU Chart" list, which you will see at the bottom, is the list that I use for multimedia use in office computers and at home. I recommend you to make a choice according to your budget from this list for the computers that you will collect for these purposes.
2- Motherboard Selection
Another feature of the motherboard you choose is that it will be the base for memory (RAM). For example, the full name of the motherboard I chose is “MSI A320M PRO-M2 V2 AMD Ryzen DDR4 3200MHz (OC) USB 3.1 Motherboard”. This means that; Our motherboard supports DDR4 feature in RAM selection and frequency up to 3200MHz. OC, the overclocking process, is a process related to the processor and provides higher performance for a certain period of time.
Another feature you can come across on the motherboard are the ATX and mATX definitions. The definition of mATX corresponds to the mini ATX feature of the motherboard, if you want to make your case small, you should choose from the motherboards with mATX.
3- Memory (RAM) Selection
Under today's conditions, if you are going to use it for office or multimedia purposes, 4GB of RAM is still sufficient. However, 8GB of RAM is a lower limit for gaming computers. I would even recommend using 16GB of RAM if your budget is sufficient.
In the same way, make sure that your motherboard supports DDR4 and the memory you get is DDR4 memory. Nobody will want to use old technology DDR3 and DDR3L on their new computer.
The higher the MHz value in a RAM and the lower the CL class, the better the RAM performance. A high MHz value will increase the smoothness of the screen image and the FPS value. CL indicates the delay time, so it is preferred to be less.
However, I would like to note that the fact that you see CL9 in a 1600MHz RAM and see CL16 in a 3000MHz RAM does not mean that you have to choose 1600. The increase of MHz will proportionally increase the CL class. You can only make this comparison as follows; If your options include 3000MHz CL16 and 3000MHz CL17 two RAMs, you should choose the CL16 one among them.
4- Graphics Card Selection
Video card selection is especially important for those who collect gaming and performance computers. Because even the most basic graphics cards will be sufficient for computers that will be used for office and multimedia purposes. If you collect computers with Intel processors, integrated graphics cards specific to Intel will be sufficient for this purpose. However, since AMD processors do not have such a feature, you will have to consider a simple graphics card anyway.
MSI GeForce GTX1060 GAMING 6GB GDDR5 192Bit Nvidia DX12 Graphics
MSI GeForce RTX 2060 GAMING 6GB GDDR6 192Bit DX12 Nvidia Graphics
The reason I wrote it in full names was to share the definitions that can be found on video cards with you. As you can see, 6GB, GDDR5, GDDR6, 192Bit and DX12 information are clearly visible among the features of the video card. 6GB refers to the video card memory for us. Video card memory is a necessary feature to play games with high features and effects. The GDDR5 and GDDR6 definitions should give us an important idea of memory bandwidth. The GDDR level is very important and a 2GB GDDR6 graphics card should definitely be considered better than a 4GB GDDR5 graphics card. The bit indicates how many bits are transmitted, and the higher it should be, the better. I think it is unwarranted to tell gamers what the DX12 is 🙂
5- Computer Cases
I will have a few suggestions on choosing Computer Case. First of all, I am always a fan fan fan and my computer in my house has 3 front 1 top 1 rear fans. You can also guess the air circulation in it, it is also indicated in the features of the case. When choosing the case, you should take care to choose it so that you can circulate the air comfortably when you place all your equipment inside the case.
6- Harddisk and SSD
Today, there are normal hard drives (HDD), SSD and M2 memory. My personal opinion is for the use of HDD + SSD. M2 memory usage will definitely speed up Windows. However, I do not think that M2 memory is still necessary in a game based computer. If you intend to collect a bit faster computer, I can recommend that you take all your memory as an SSD. Even 1TB SSD prices have fallen down
a lot.
7- Monitor
As you know, if you have read my case suggestions from my other articles, I do not add the monitor selection to my suggestions. However, I thought it would be appropriate for me to share this while giving a total information.
There will be a few values that you will encounter in choosing a monitor and you will make a few choices. The first choice is the screen size. My advice about this will be screen sizes of 24 ′ and above.
The second choice is the screen resolution. You will of course make this choice according to your budget, but in this period, making a choice of at least 2K monitor will be beneficial for you not to fall behind the technology.
In the third place, the refresh rate (60-75-144Hz etc.) and response time (1-5ms) come. The higher the refresh rate, the better the image (high FPS) you get, provided that it depends on the power of your graphics card. As you can imagine, the reaction time should be as low as possible.
"How to Collect a Computer?" we are coming to the end of our article. I hope this information is sufficient for you and I am waiting for your comments below. If you specify the missing parts, I always prefer to update the article and meet you better. I also assure you that I will investigate and share the truth with regard to the subject that I do not know.
